I have a 1999 honda accord 2.3L automatic. It starts drives fine until I stop and the engine dies after the transmission appears to get stuckin 4th gear and the transmission drags the engine down and it konks out. I put it in Neutral manually, re-crank the engine and I drive off fine again. Rpm Auto checked my wiring to the ECM and found and repaired one bad wire. Now it still does the same about one out of three stops and still dragges the engine down when it does not die. RPM Auto said they think it may be something inside the trans. Any ideas??

Check for any stored codes first,
Post actual codes.

The CEL/D4 doesn't illuminate for all issues/codes.
