Default H22 swapped accord

Ok guys so ive been searching for an answer for a year now and i have to get this done lol. So i have a 97 coupe with a manual swap and an h22a4 out of a 98 prelude using a chipped p28 and conversion harness. In order to pass emissions it must have a functioning obd2 port. I havent bern able to find an obd2 p13. So if i use a p5m, can i use the ignition and keys from the prelude and swap them into my column in order for the immobilizer to function? Do i need the little immobilizer box too? Or can i just get a new key from honda? I imagine that would be expensive lol. Thank you

Not sure if there is room or a proper spot to place the receiver(small box) in the column proper. As long as it it connected to the PCM and the transponder(key) for that PCM is near the receiver then the PCM should allow the car to start. No need to replace the key/tumbler in the Accords column. I would preserve the a lamp to indicate immobilizer functionality, incase the transponder(key) goes to pot.

Ok so as long as i have the corresponding key to that ecu and the reciever, i can leave the key under the carpet or something next to the ecu and reciever, and i can use my original key and ignition?

I would put the key/receiver up high so it wont get trampled on or possibly damaged. Behind the kick panel or somewhere in the center console would be safer options.

You can also get the Immobilizer bypassed on the 97+ Prelude ECUs. I believe the member "Katman" on here can do it.

I don't know how particular his emissions testing are(is?).
In CA if the tech is a colossal ***** orifice, they will smack you and kill the test if there is ANY modification to the factory PROM chip and it is detected, even non-emissions related items such as a security chip bypass can fail you. Plus if he already has the PCM/key/box all he had to do is wire everything together/hide the immobilizer bits. Those Honda OBDII PROM chips can be pricey.
