I need a TCM for a 93 Honda Accord. Part number is 28100-PXO-722. I have found a few places online who have refurbished ones but am not sure if they are trustworthy. Some on ebay and some are online stores. Any suggestions where I can buy one from a trustworthy source? Thank you.

 

The TCU computer board is getting old and the original capacitors dry out or short out, the cpu and other solid state stuff is usually ok. For $10 you can buy a kit and replace the capacitors and critical resistors. The soldiering is relatively easy. I have done a few ECU and TCU and they all worked.

Suggestion: Mandigital (ebay) has over 28000 transactions with 100% feedback, they rebuild your unit for $70, but all they are really doing is cleaning the board, replacing the caps and resistors and maybe test but you need to ask about how they test (in car or on the bench).
