99 ACCORD BRAKE PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR
I HAVE A 99 HONDA ACCORD 4 DOOR AND THE RIGHT REAR BRAKE LINE WENT OUT, I REPLACED THE LINE AND BLED THE SYSTEM, BUT THE PEDAL STILL GOES TO THE FLOOR. ANY IDEAS? NEED TO BLEED THE SYSTEM MORE? OR SOMETHING ELSE I NEED TO LOOK FOR?
THANK YOU

when a line is replaced air can go into the whole system... did you bleed all the wheels? Start at the passenger side rear, then driver side rear, passenger side front then driver side front. you may have to do this rotation a couple of times. If that fails a pressurized bleeder may be needed. On my 99 I have never had a bleeding problem, I have a helper (usually my wife) push the pedal while I watch the air bubbles. I waste a lot of fluid making sure I get all the air out. I suppose there is also the possibility that dirt has gotten into the abs pump and caused a seal leak... abs light on?

Lots of potential issues, chief among them are a failed master cylinder. On my 2001 Accord I had the brake pedal go to the floor one day while on the freeway; turned out the brake lines rusted through requiring all new lines.
