Trying to decide what Hondata to get
I just bought a 07 8th gen... I have a few bolt ons such as a ZDX j37 throttle body, hybrid racing cold air intake, and a hybrid racing short shift,I was thinking about getting a new intake mani “thinking skunk2 pro series”,I have skunk2 alpha header and mega power exhaust. I want to do cams, pistons and a turbo but that will be later...
so yeah nothing has been installed yet just waiting on the Hondata and a great local tuner

Race version plain and simple, much more freedom, the carb version is truly a waste of money, hondata says 35 starting calibrations for their carb version and limited tuning and only carb compliant. sounds great but once u get it no where does it say i its only one tune thats carb. One tune. $400+ and i cant tune with a carb legal intake? go for race its just much better
There is only 2 option... either you do a Reflash which I wouldn't waste my money on or get the Flashpro. There is no race Hondata version.
If you are talking cals then yes there is difference types of calibration race being one of them and I would not be using one of them. If you are going to get Flashpro your tuner should be setting you up on a Hybrid cal which is best of both world using some of the race functions but not all... Hondata stopped supporting race cals as they caused too many issues.

There are 2 versions of the Flaspro u know,
Theres the Carb version for 400, not worth it.
and theres the Race version for 670 which with his mod throttle body and a tuner dude he can get good gains from his swap
