random facts, 03-06 Element are 4 speed A/T and cable throttle, 07-08 are 5 speed A/T and DBW, 03-06 Element is related to 05-06 RSX

I want to use the 05-06 ECU from the base RSX so I can use the KTuner hardware ECU. I would assume the swap may be possible with an ECU adapter but need to know what cars to look at for researching a solution. FWIW the KTuner flash is very limited for the 07-08 Element including no boost tables

 

Did you ever get an answer? I have an 07 Automatic AWD Element and looking at something similar. I want to swap in a K24A2 from a TSX but the ECU isn't ktuner compatible, so wondering about matching the ECU to the engine instead of the... rest of the vehicle.

My plan is to spend some time at the library with AllData, comparing the pinouts of the ECUs, for starters...

 

No real answers..... For me it's not worth the rewiring, the newer style DBW/ speed density/ 5 speed A/T combo is a really nice car.... only option is the TSX swap as you said..... THAT being said have you ever driven an A/T TSX? now add weight and you're where the empty Element sits. Manual trans swap will give you Ktuner access but still no boost tables..... In the end I have moved on and I'm building an off road 1st gen Insight however I still think about the Element future. Since ours is also FWD I want to add an EV RWD set up and make an Element plug in hybrid. Also would like to swap in the 2012 MDX drivetrain... 300hp 6speed A/T SH AWD paddle shift, you can get the whole swap cheaper than K series.
