Rephrase your question. Does not compute.

Default stuff

Are you sure it's the front bar? Usually they mean the rear bar. On the Si, there's a stock rear sway bar. This does not come stock on other civic trim levels, such as ex, blah blah. I bought the front and rear bar kit for my 2000 ex and it's pretty good. it will require a little drilling in the rear, because the braces the bar comes with don't match/fit the holes already on the car. It's not that big a deal, and the results are pretty good. if you're gonna buy the kit, get the one with both front and rear bars. it's worth it in the end! plus, this kit isn't all that expensive!

ex has a factory front sway bar so get the kit that says "with stock front bar"
the other kit that is made for cars without a stock front bar is for dx's

i agree with import racer. the kit is cheat, good, and even though you have to drill 2 holes it is very easy to install. by myself it took me 4.5hrs to put on front and back. my advice is definately have someone help you because trying to hold up the bar and bolt it on at the same time is a bitch.
