Hey i'm checking out Performance rotors by SP Performance for my civic. Anybody ever heard of this brand before, anybody have any reviews about how long they held up? THere stuff looks better than most other companies out there. I fly on the highway and want something to perform better than oem rotors.

 

Perform better than OEM rotors?

They're just rotors, my man. Buy cheap rotors. Rotors aren't going to help performance.

If you want a tangible performance increase, buy the right pads.

 

What year is your civic? Ive been looking at these for my 99 ex:

rotors arent going to help you stop any faster. theres no change in friction.

brake pads and tires only. theyre the parts doing the work.

and proper maintenance on your brake fluid and system.

master cylinder size will change pedal feel, but no other performance.

 

Thanks this was a lot of help guys. THat makes sense to me,, tires and pads are probaly doing most of the work. I guess I just like the looks. your pretty much just paying for the look behind the wheel.
