98 vs 99 civic?
Good morning,
I am currently finishing up my project. Last thing on my bucket list it paint.
But my hood and bumper are not salvageable so i'm like F*&^ it,
Ill buy them used with minor defects that I can probility bondo out.
esides that i'm a little hesitant because I found a cheap 98-97 bumper but people are saying 98 vs 99 bumpers are different.
Whats the difference between 98 front end and 00 front end.... Please help lol

96-98 are the same and 99-00 are the same. If your car is a 96-98 and you want easy then get 96-98 front end parts, same for 99-00. You can switch to a 99-00 front end, but it will require a hood, bumper, fenders, grille, headlight assemblies & I believe there is some minor modifications required to the radiator support to make it all fit. If you have a 99-00 and want a 96-98 front end its essentially the same process. Visually there isn't a massive difference, I personally like the 99-00 front ends better, however they are different enough that you can't really mix and match parts.
If you want a full list/write up on swapping I am not much help on that, but some google searching should give some results.
