2005 Accord LX SE suspension problem

I have a 2 door 4cyl Accord 5 speed manual with 110k I’ve been having a problem with my suspension I have done an alignment wheel balance new control arms, new wheel bearings and my steering is still off and steering wheel shakes at 65 plus, anyone has any idea why this plagues my Accord ?

you're just throwing parts at it. why?

is the same mechanic doing all of the work? what does he say?

when were the front shocks last replaced?

the shocks have never been replaced but the car did sit in a weird angle in a sloping yard for 6 years it was technically abandoned, mechanic always says oh it’s this part or that part but it’s never fixed the problem.

part of their job (shocks) is isolating vibrations like what you're experiencing. in fact badly worn shocks can allow normal or acceptable wheel "imbalance" to be noticeable.

that's a red flag in my book. he may mean well, but he'll end up wasting your time and money (sounds like he has done already). find another mechanic who knows how to troubleshoot and diagnose. even the best out there get it wrong sometimes, but they'll be honest about it and explain their methods/logic.
