97 accord 2.2 died now won't start
First post here so thanks everyone. I've got a 1997 accord 2.2l sohc. Never had an issue with it before. I was on my way to work this morning, driving around 40mph, and it just died. Everything shut down, motor and electrical (no headlights, dash lights, anything, just like the key was turned off.) I coasted off down a side road and parked it. Before it died the Speedo needle jumped around a little bit.
I assumed it was the alternator At first. So I got my other car out here to try to jump it. Put cables on and let it charge for like 10 minutes. Nothing. So I pulled the battery out of my other car and put it in the accord. Still nothing. Now it won't do anything, even with a fresh battery in it. Turn the key, no dash lights, radio, headlights, no fuel pump prime sound, no starter click, nothing. The only thing on the entire car that works is the flashers will come on, that's it.
Anyone have any ideas?

Check the main fuse in the underhood fusebox before anything else. It will be an 80amp fuse for DX/LX models and 90amp for EX models. Report back after you check it.
Main fuse was good. Just checking around with a new battery in and a test light, all the fuses under the hood are good, but I'm not getting anything on any of the fuses under the dash. Ignition switch maybe?
Update. It's fixed. It was the ignition switch. Went to the pull-a-part and got another ignition switch out of a 96 model. Put it in and she fired right up. Thanks for the help.
