Default JIC FLT-A2 damper opinions needed

i've heard that JIC suspension is harsh for street use but every product description i've read says they're ok for street use. the spring rates i believe ar 7k/6k which shouldn't be that bad especially with 15 waydamping adjustment. does anyone have any first hand experience with these dampers? thanks.

well, its depend on how u like the car handle/ride qulity. i use 12/6 for almost 2 year, so far so good. if u like more ride qulity, get 8/6 k.

i guess if 12/6 is bearable on the street for you i should be ok with an 8/6 or something similar. why would you keep the rear at a 6k and raise the front? i'm new to the whole spring rate thing. thanks for you help man.

ok i just ordered them with 9k/6k spring rate (what they come with) i talked to the guy at the place that sells them who i know and he said that they're the best coilovers he's ever used for the money (which still isn't cheap!) and that they're awesome on every type of road. they're also re-buildable in the US which is a plus. thanks for all your advice

actually he is right, flt-a2 is to compete with tein RE, zeal B6 , BC race spec........although once again, the importer of JIC is not nice(is an a-hole imo), the suspension is nice.

If you've seen JIC coilovers...these are some high quality ****. Much better build quality then Tein, Zeal, HKS, etc.

Also good thing about them is you could get parts to rebuild them here and actually have it rebuilt here.

I've ridden in a 2nd gen rx-7 with flt-a2, I liked it. I liked GAB, which I had in my rx-7 at the time, better, but JIC was suitable for street.
