Honda Strut glue ?

Default Honda Strut glue ?

Good morning guys,
I made a video not to long ago doing my engine bay i clean it up by removing all the factory glue. Some one commented i should have left the glue on the strut tower because it could crack ? i just motor back in please let me know if you know what im talking about

I'm not a body man but I was under the impression it's not exactly glue you see but body sealer to keep water out of the cracks and crevices.

it is called seam sealer. if you're doing some kind of shave/tuck, you need to reapply it, but cleaner than oe, then bondo over. depending on which sealer you use, you may need to prime before application.

I did not attempt to fully remove it just the extra you can say its kinda hard to explain lol I removed the access i did not try to get deep in the cracks just made it look flush . You think that would be fine ?
