its a honda civic special edition lx 2005 it has been sitting for about a year(dont have money for incurance and i do run it) the engine has been replaced andi noticed it has a huge squle sund when it starts up belts are in ok shape and i did just top it off in no leak power stearng pump fluid and it has a burning smell coming from the engne bay the brakes seem fine nothing sounds like its rubbing on anything and no fluid got on the blt whhen i was putting fluid in and i doubled checked and im not sure if the engine is over heating the light does not come on for over heating but i does get ot after 10 minutes of running it do you knw wht the probme is thnkyou

So, your issues, as I understand them:
-Belt squeak
-Engine overheating

I'd lubricate or replace the alternator pulley or replace the belt. As far as the overheating, we need more information.
