Can MPFI distributor be used on DPFI cars

Can MPFI distributor be used on DPFI cars

As you can see from the picture, the MPFI distributor has CYL sensor but DPFI ones do not have.... If I can pinout the wire correctly, can I use MPFI distributor on a DPFI car, I can just leave the CYL sensor alone.... Anybody has done that?

No. The CKP sensor in the DPFI distributor generates a different number of pulses per revolution than the MPFI distributor.
