Default 2006 Civic Hybrid vibrates when transitioning from full stop to drive

Hello everyone! Have a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid, 110K miles. When going from a full stop into drive, the car shakes/vibrates, then proceeds normally the rest of the time. This is more likely to happen when going uphill. There are no issues at higher speeds. I haven't heard any noises beyond that.

Recently went to dealership for airbag recall and they changed the transmission oil while I was there. Did not make a difference. Thank you.

Sounds like the start clutch judder. Could try the clutch burnish procedure but it will probably be a temporary fix.

Looking it up, I bet that's exactly what it is! Thank you. And my model is one year after Honda extended the warranty on these. Back then, one forum reported that Honda paid half the $2,600 bill. Apparently bill is primarily labor, have to pull out transmission and so on.

I also haven't found any starter clutch kits online for sale thus far. I would also assume that it would cost several hundred dollars to get the tools necessary to take care of this myself, and it is a big job.

So I guess the question here is: Can I continue to drive on this problem? For how long? Will I start causing more damage to components if I do?
