The cruise control master switch works, but the speed control will not set. Tach reads fairly well but if you let off the gas quickly or accelerate quickly it is not very accurate. For instance you are going 40 mph at say 2,500 rpms and let off the accelerator and the tach may drop 1000 rpms while only slowing a couple mph. Also the tranny shifts erratic/hard at slower rpms. Any ideas what this may be? or if problems are related? 244,000 miles. Timing belt was done 30,000 miles ago. Car has been very well cared for its whole life. !997 accord SE
