Default 95 civic coolant leak?

I just bought a 95 civic lx with the d15b7 1.5. I noticed a small puddle under the transmission. I assumed it was ac till I drove it home ac off. Never over heated or nothing but I saw it dripping behind the transmiasion ans I never used the ac plus it smelled like coolant. Its coming from the back side of the engine where the bellhousing bolts to the block so am I right to assume broken heater hose?

that's probably what it is. Take off the intake piping so you get a clear view of the area and look with a flashlight. One of the heater hoses is possible

Also, check the hose directly below the distributor.oozing oil gets onto that, and it fails.
