I am a beginner rebuilding a J35A7...I am trying to deteremine the purpose of the dimple on the connecting rod, big end. There is a spot of paint on the end cap that corresponds to the dimple, i am assuming from manufacturer. Is this a directional mark? Appreciate the help.
