It's Clutch Time...
At 132k miles, my clutch is telling me it's time to retire. I'm going to have a good mechanic I know do the job but I'm going to source the parts.
I've seen Exedy Clutch Kits recommended and Honda actually shows Exedy clutch discs as OEM replacements. Rock Auto shows two different Exedy kits for my 02 LX - an HCK1000 kit and a #08014 kit for 24 Spline; Major Diameter 1-1/16 in. Which kit is correct? Are all needed clutch-related parts included in said kits?
On the Flywheel, the local Machine shop wants $60 to resurface - $100 if dual-mass. Rock has a LUK brand for $34.79 - good?
During the process, with the transmission removed, what other related/unrelated/now accessible parts/seals/etc. should be serviced/replaced?
Thanks - Dave
