WojtekG's LS/VTEC Turbo: Un-Mothballing a classic. What are these parts again?
Hi,
Ive got Acura Integra '94 LS/VTEC setup with Turbo (with eManage blue and Profec-e01) that I've built approx 14 years ago. Car was in garage for last 8-10 years and now I'm going to revive it. During the engine bay cleaning process I found some items I do not remember what they are for and I would like to get rid of redundant items as I believe during build up we installed too much staff.
So I found the item you can see on the picture that is zip-tied (so I assume not stock item) behind the intake manifold to the firewall. It looks like some kind of sensor having electrical connection and two vacuum lines. One (marked green) goes to the intake manifold and second one (marked red) goes to some container (some stock item near firewall on the left hand side). This container is connected to throttle body also by means of some vacuum line (aux. info just for easier identification). This sensor gets quite hot after already 1-2 minutes of engine operation.
I wonder is someone knows what it can be and if it's needed for this engine setup.

Good luck bringing it back. My integra has been in the garage with a cover over it for at least 4yrs now. Thinking about draining the race gas out of it and waking it up from its slumber.
