1997 accord oil light

Just a quick question..i have a 1997 accord and i swear when i turn my ignition on the oil light would come on..my battery light does..can anyone comfim if my oil light should come on too? Thanks

With the key in the "run" position and the engine OFF, yes the light should be on. With the key in the "run" position and the engine ON, the light should be off.

Thats what i thought..i dont light up with key on engine off.. Wonder what and how to fix this....it worked as of last week...thanks

Possible the pressure sensor went bad or the lead came unplugged. The oil pressure sensor is located above the oil filter and has a single wire plug attached to it.
