Default 2009 Civic SI Mod Request

Hey guys, Im looking to buy a 2009 Honda Civic SI soon.

Im new to the Honda scene and would like some recommendations as to what mods should I get on it. Just sold my last German car and never planning on buying anything German again unless it's beer.

Also, I am looking to supercharge it, not turbo it. The one I am buying has roughly 90k miles on it if that matters maintenance wise. I currently have 3 Civics. A 2003 Hybrid, 2009 1.8 and 2010 1.8. I know some about Civics but not as much as I would like to know. Also, never worked on a 2.0 N/A SI engine either.

I am looking mainly for performance mods but if you have certain body kits or such that you would recommend, I'm open to suggestions.

Im on a budget, only thing I am not going to go cheap on is the supercharger so I'm looking to spend 3-4k on it but everything else is bang for buck as to what I need.

The CT kit is cheaper for a reason... it doesn't come with an intercooler, charge piping or a recirculating valve. In addition, it isn't nearly as powerful, nor as safe as the KW kit. I guess you get what you pay for.

I was thinking of KraftWerks as well. I'm not looking to go cheap on mods that may affect my engine in a negative way. What else do you guys recommend? I'm also looking for an exhaust but don't know which is better and not too expensive either.

I have the Skunk2 Megapower 70mm (3") exhaust on my 8th gen Si. It's not quiet but that and the Injen cold air intake took the 197 BHP to 203 WHP on the stock engine. I'd also upgrade the timing chain tensioner to the Hybrid Racing timing chain tensioner as you will likely be upgrading to stiffer valve springs and a different set of cam shafts to accentuate the super charger.

You will want the 3" exhaust if you are adding a supercharger.
