Pictures: 1st gen crv rear diff clutch pack vs 2nd gen.
Hey guys, it's been almost 6 years since i first posted about my crv, which i started playing with the rear diff, as seen in this thread:
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-cr-v-element-156/new-me-cr-v-3091170/
Anyway, i have started working on crv's again and wanted to show what i found comparing the two gens rear diffs side by side. Most of us have seen pics of the clutch packs with the little square pucks on them. The second gens are quite different. I don't know if anyone has shown the difference, but when i am searching i don't see much. Anyway on to the photos:
1st gen:

2nd gen:

I also took a small video of how the clutch packs differ in construction as well, i probably need to upload that to YouTube first....

Just thought i would post this up for general info. From what i have heard, the later Element packs are even better, but i don't have one to tear apart.
