Default H2B w/ 4.7fd Type R search. Wanted to say thanks.

I am new to the forums and have learned a lot so far. Sure most people here that have given out a wealth of information have not been thanked enough. So thank you.

I have also been looking for a source for getting a 4.7FD B18C Type R trans. I am striking out. Anyone know anywhere I can check that is reliable?

I dont know where you can find one, but are you sure you want that trans in the h2b?
I ran the same one and it was a bit over geared for a mildly built h22. Would spin the tires in second gear from a roll.
I'd suggest the tried and true gsr trans for a little more civility on the street. .

I disagree firmly with 93h2beg. GSR gearing is too long, in my opinion, for an all motor build. Get a good LSD in the ITR trans, and a nice set of tires, and go for it.

B16 or older pre-98spec ITR trans with 4.4FD is also acceptable.
