Hey all I'm newbie here and I'm am in search of info about my 94 Accord ex that have been very mysterious since I purchased the car... The problems that I am having are is that it's burning oil like crazy and won't rev past 4500rpm.... I've done a xompresscom test and all 4 cylinders show right around 190psi and also have hooked up a vacuum guage to see if I could get any insight on the problem from it which didn't show much just a steady vibrating needle... I've also checked the timing and it is spot on.. the oil burning doesn't seem to be noticable until the engine gets almost to about 4k rpms and then it really dumps smoke outta the tail pipe thanks to all who reads this and can share any info

I have the same problem with my 94 accord ex, going to check for valve seal leaks and verify mechanical timing, also due for valve adjustment

 

Have you checked for any stored codes?
Verify the CEL lamp functions when turning to II(ON).
