Body panel replacement
Hey I recently got a new to me 91 crx si. It's an awesome car but the hood and driver fender have some dents I found "Replace" brand hood and fender on the site carid. Anyone use this brand before that can say if they are worth buying or not? If not any one have a brand they recommend buying they can give a link to?
The other issue is the sunroof that has rust. It has one hole and a few spots I figure best thing to do is replace it with carbon fiber. I was looking at the vms one as it seems to be the most readily available. Any opinions on this and if it needs to be modified to fit the stock mounting hardware?here's the link

Congrats on your purchase! I would always recommend buying used oem parts if available to you. Do you have any salvage yards near you? It's getting much tougher to find a decent donor I know. As for the sunroof... you are correct that either repairing the metal one or going carbon fiber are the two best options. I would recommend repairing your metal one if it's really only one hole and a few spots. I was faced with the same thing a few weeks ago and what I did was buy some POR15. I thinned it with their "special thinner" and injected/poured it into the open areas on the interior side of the panel. I then held the panel and tilted it in various angles in order to get the POR15 all around until it oozed from the seams etc. My hope is to reach rusted areas inside and slow to spread of cancer. I'm saving the carbon fiber as a true last resort. Good luck!

I fear my sunroof may be to far to save unfortunately the hole is smaller than a dime but has quite a few spots and I have no yards near me. Plus the only other crx I can think of is owned by the gentleman I bought mine from
