Default flashing codes

my 94 honda accord the drive light started flashing and then the check engine light came on i put the wire in the obd thing and the check engine would flash 1 long flash and then 7 short flashs and the drive light would flash to 4 flashes it would flash in between the check engine lights im not sure on how to read those flashes

You can find your code among this list here CEL codes and then look for any posts regarding your code.

my car is a 94 honda accord you gave me codes for a 96 honda accord wrong ones

94 - 96 all the same codes.... actually I'm pretty sure they have been the same since 89 or something like that.

ECU
17 - VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

TCU
4-Vehicle Speed Sensor open or shorted - No signal from speedometer.
