Post What size rod bearings do i need for h22a4

I bought this 2001 honda prelude base and pulled the oil pan off and grabbed the number 2 rod and noticed thats where the knocking noise was coming from. I remove the rod cap and there wasn't any bearing in it. The crank looked smoothed and i ran m fingers over it and know gouging in the metal at all. This is my first time doing any kind of work like this very new to me. I call a mechanic and he told me to take rod number 3 and remove the bearing and switch it to the number 2 to see if ther is any play in it. He said if there wasn't any play in it, the crank should still be good. But i still wouldn't know what size of rod bearings to buy. If you can give me any info that would be great.

You should take it to machine shop and let they inspect and measure it
