Original drivers door smashed in accident
Everything worked still for other windows and locks (driver window was smashed) on crashed door
Bought junk-yard door and mounted to car frame
Used the working smashed door window / lock switch assembly and attached to junk-yard door
Junk-yard door mirror works... locks work if activated from passenger door
NONE of windows work from Driver switch or any other passenger switches
Checked left foot kick panel fuses for windows and are good

Something I'm missing on the junk-yad door swap ? If master switch assembly worked from crashed door, should be wasy swap to junk-yard door ?
I can only guess right now connector pins at the back of master swtich cables OR.... the door jam plug connector that is under the rubber accordian tube ?

Is a junk-yard door what it sounds like?

 

Yes was a junk-yard door. So I wound up removing the OLD driver door wiring harness and installed into the junk-yard door that I put on the car.....
Then windows and locks worked ! Appears the JUNK-YARD door was damaged at the door hinge connector area....

Junkyard said they sell working FULL assemblies...... in this case no.....
