Default Please help

Hey guys so I swapped a ‘00 b20 with a aem
high flow fuel rail into my 99 ex . My stock civic ex fuel pump stopped working after two days. Can I use a B series fuel pump in my ex ? Since it needs a higher flow rate ?my friend said no cause there different bolt and alignment? But seen people saying they’ve used b series to replace their d series fuel pump ? Which one would you guys recommend(Keeping b20 non vtec) Couldn’t find anything too specifically. Nothing but part numbers and years.
