The problem began about a month ago when the car started having rough starts. It didn't matter what the temperature was the car would have problems starting up and then once it got started for about 15 seconds it would idle rough and then purr like a kitten. Once the car warms up it would idle at very low RPMs and shutter every once in awhile.
Eventually the car got to the point where it would not start so I took it upon myself to install a new fuel filter, fuel pump, and then I tried to fire it up.
The car did not start so I went back to the drawing board and check the main relay. The main relay looked okay but I re-solder all the contact points and added more solder just for extra measure. Tried to start the car did not start.
Installed brand new NGK iridium spark plugs and NGK wires, and the car started but had the same early idle problem, and balanced itself out.
this morning I cleaned the IAC valve and the thing next to it ( forgive me for my ignorance I'm 28 years young and just recently started to get into mechanical repairs)
I noticed quite a bit of buildup on the screen and the other piece I was talking about beside the IAC valve had little white rocks stuck inside the bottom so I cleaned everything out. Car would not start..
took the air filter off, and the car started once again with the same weird idle shutters for the first 15 seconds and then eventually Idled at 900 RPMs. Once the engine got to half heat it idles at 400 RPMs and then if I give it gas once I let off the gas the car will die.
any help I'm diagnosing these problems is greatly appreciated. My guess is I've added so many aftermarket parts at this point that the car needs a tune but I have no idea what I'm talking about LOL.
EDIT: I installed new 550cc injectors, and a short ram cold air intake.
Pulled the oil dipstick, and it raised level from where it was and it was a lighter color, meaning there is a leak. Most likely gas because I don't have a rail or fuel pressure regulator for the new injectors.
EDIT: I did an oil change and replace the valve cover gasket and the car started right up but is still running very very rich. AEM high pressure fuel rail and JDM fuel pressure regulator on the way.
