Default 94 PS Rack: Pure Hell

I swapped out the PS rack in my Civic some time back and remember it as being one of the worst jobs I've ever done. So naturally I've been putting off the job on my Accord. Well today I started it. I gave myself the entire weekend so I can go inside and take a break or call it a night and seek refuge in an adult beverage in the event that I get to the point that I want to start throwing wrenches at my obnoxious neighbors. I have done just about every job there is to do on the Civic and am getting there with the Accord (amongst many other jobs on other cars) and I must say that this is the worst job I've ever done. Obviously the engineers weren't thinking of maintenance when they designed this system. It would be a breeze if there were no engine in the bay. Hell, it would be a breeze if there were no intake manifold. Dealing with the lines to the PS pump is unadulterated pure HELL.

I'm wondering why there aren't more threads about how terrible this job is on the forum. A Google search for this board doesn't turn up much. Is that because so many people throw in the towel and take it to a mechanic?

My God, this is tedious work. Worse than the clutch MC by a mile; which is a pretty annoying job.
