4000 RPM Limp Mode
Hi everyone,
I am new to the forums and am seeking help with my issue that arose with my 1992 Honda Civic with a 1998 Acura GSR engine swap. The car is partially gutted and I decided to go all the way with it. In doing so I removed the dash, heater core, SRS airbag wiring and control unit, and an aftermarket security system. I am now having issues with a 4000 RPM rev limiter or limp mode that is occurring. The car starts fine, idols fine, and has no codes that pop up from jumping the ecu plug. I am unsure what seems to be the issue, if I somehow bricked the ECU when I was messing with the wiring maybe? I removed what I thought was a master fuse spliced inline the main power cable, but didn't realize that their was wiring connected before the fuse and things were still probably getting power. Any help with the matter would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
