Hey guys,


I screwed up big time. At some point whenever I was mounting my transmission my release fork came off the throwout bearing. Can I maneuver it in any way without having to pull the tranny out again? I’ve had to do it myself and that took like a week as you can from some if the surface rust. If I di manage to get the fork back on, how do I keep the thing fron moving? Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

May be a dumb question, but does your fork have the clip on it still?

I think you can probably finagle it back in, I’m pretty sure this has happened to me before. May need to use something as a fulcrum to push the clip back on that ball in there though

I couldn’t figure it out. I just had to pull it out a little bit where there was enough clearance.
