Default Is any ecu compatible with a 1994 honda accord lx automatic?

My ecu on my honda accord fried, I replaced it but it still didn't turn on. The ecu however is different model number from I believe a 1995 accord, possibly. Is the ecu that it isn't compatible the problem?

There are a couple of ECU for every model year. 1994 and 1995 had the POA and POB ECU (if your engine is a F22b1, then you need the POA, and the b2 used the POB). Its possible you also got a V6 ECU since 1995 was the first year of the V6. Other things to keep in mind is A01, A02, usually are manual computers while A51 and A52 are automatic computers, even though the transcomputer was seperate on the 1994-1997 models. Its possible that you have a faulty main relay or another related issue. Please post original and new part numbers of the ECU
