Need help Supertech Springs
Hi I’m new to the forum and honda in general lol. I just got my GSR head out of the machine shop new valve job ready to run. And after I bought some Supertech dual valve springs used but in good condition. But I noticed that the outer diameter of the spring is smaller, is that normal? I asked the machine shop over the phone if he would install them he said I would have to do a new valve job I don’t know if he’s milking me for more money.
If if anyone knows please let me know are the springs smaller then the original stock OEM springs? And if installed do I need a new valve job?

you dont need a new valve job..........swap out the springs with retainers and your fine.
the springs could be smaller diameter but thicker and more wound.

make for sure certain they are supertech......and what part #?
