Default 97 accord ecu poh-lo2 vs poh-lo2

I have a 97 accord with a f22b1 vtec engine im putting a f22b non-vtech engine in will the ecu need to be changed from the poh to the poj?

Yes, you will need an OBD2 P0J non VTEC Accord ECU.

Will i have to modify the harness any or will the non vtec harness match up to the poj ecu with the rest of the pre existing wiring

What year is the F22B2 engine and harness? As long as it is OBD2 it should be plug and play!

The f22b1 is a 97 and the non vtech f22b showed 96-97 the actual engine harnesses look completely different but both will hook up to the wiring that runs to the ecu
