im looking to add a front lower transmission torque mount, anybody knows if a original stock GSR mount will swap over? It’s the only one I’m missing.

thanks

If you are talking about the torque mount that bolts to the underside of the frame rail, an Integra mount will work AFTER you drill the spot welds of the locator plate on the underside of the frame rail so that the Integra torque mount will mount flat against the civic frame rail. The Civic torque mount has a gap in the middle of it to index on the frame rail tab.

yes I believe we are talking about the same mount, the one under the passenger side wheel. I’ve never seen that bracket before, so I don’t even know what it would look like. The only bolt holes on my transmission are on the end of the gearbox facing the towards the wheel.

‘Thanks for the reply

I think I might have trouble with utilizing this mount, I’m still using an older cable transmission with the hydro-cable conversion. The 90-93 tranny’s had that mount in a different location. That’s why I was having trouble and I’m just realizing this. I pulled this setup out of my old crx I used to drag back in the late 90’s. I did a fresh up on the engine with stock rods and some JE pistons

I thought you were talking about a cable transmission... that creates another issue. The bracket that you desire wasn't ever available here in the US, and therefore, the solution is a JDM Integra XSi lower/side transmission bracket. Now, I am not sure if a torque mount will actually fit with this bracket on an EG. The good news is that since you have to use a set of aftermarket mounts with polyurethane inserts, the bracket that we are discussing here is really unnecessary. If you really wanna try just for ***** and giggles... call Steve at HMotorsOnline and see if he has one laying around.

‘good info JR ... thanks. I’m just trying to overkill my mount set up. I’m about to replace synchros and bad engine torque is usually the leading cause of them going out. It’s hard to believe that I’ve forgotten so much, I used to be a walking Honda encyclopedia lol.ive let this car set around for over ten years without much done other than a random crank up , it’s time to put it back to use ( track use that is )
