Best Coilovers for my DA Integra?
Hi Everyone! It's been a long time since I've been here. I recently purchased a stock 1992 integra coupe because I really missed having an old school honda. Anyway, I am trying to figure out what the best coilovers are out there so that I can have both a nice drop and comfortable ride. I'm not going to be racing or anything like that lol.... I want to give it a clean 2.0 - 2.25 drop all around, but still be able to drive it everyday. Something close to stock feeling, maybe, would be great! Any suggestions? Thank you in advance! Oh and budget wise, looking to spend no more than 600/700 dollars...
^^^ that's not going to happen unless it's a used ragged-out set.
Go with Ground Controls and KYB AGX. I bought that setup for my daughter's old Integra sedan and the total was around $625.

Koni...or any stock length shock doesn't work very well with a big drop like that.
Near your price range...I would probably still want to use Konis and GC's. I would just lower the car a lot less.
They're like $800ish.
Or...maybe Tein Flex Z. They'll handle your desired drop...and they're in your price bracket. But ride quality may or may not be all that great.

As always, your experience may vary, but I have Koni yellow/GC coilovers lowered at least an inch past their recommended maximum range for the last few years and have zero complaints. Am I shortening the life of the shock, possibly. But it handles great still. Granted, I am on 500f/400r springs.

No point in buying coilover sleeves and not lower it. Can't recall how much of a drop but car was on a set of 16" wheels. AGX dampers are adjustable. Rode fine without complaints.
