A guy I work with ordered a motor and trans from a jdm site for his 97 accord. The original motor was the f22b2 and they sent an f22b. I think we have the motor difference figured out but still can't find anything on the transmission differences. Is there any info on what will be needed to make this transmission work or if it will work at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

do the transmissions look the same? can you find the code on it (usually four digit letter and or number mix)

post pictures of each if you can.
