Default 5th Gen Si OEM Exhaust/Muffler

I recently purchased a low mileage 5th gen which had been sitting for the last two years. The exhaust B pipe is aftermarket stainless and mates up to the OEM muffler at a slight angle which bends the muffler upwards. After 2 years of not moving in a driveway the exhaust filled with water and the baffles are shot.

My questions are:

1. Are there any new Si mufflers out there? (I haven't found one yet)
2. Is there an OEM JDM version that I could put on?
3. Will the EX muffler work/are they the same?
4. Whats the closest to OEM option out there in the aftermarket?

All my experience is with 4th gens so this is slightly new territory for me.

Thanks,
Jacob

I spent $ on A'PEXi system and really like it.
Not cheap, but I wish I had done it earlier.
Not sure what body and engine you are running, but I have a used manifold and B-pipe from stock B18C1 that I shortened to tuck up in my EG hatch. LMK if that will help you...

  1. No. 18030-S04-C90 is no longer available. You might be able to find some still in stock at dealers
  2. Will need to be a JDM Ferio EK4 with B16A and likely hard to find in good condition
  3. They're not the same, but theoretically would fit if you also used the EX B-Pipe
  4. Apexi WorldSport II is a pretty quiet exhaust that's not raspy and of good quality. It does not look stock though. There's one for sale now in the Marketplace.
  5. If you find a good local muffler shop and explain that you want something close to OEM in looks and sound they should be able to accommodate you
