Default Question for you bike owners...

Let's say someone has never driven a motorcycle before. ever. This person want's to buy a bullet bike. Would this be a smart move? or would there be a better bike for them to get for a first time rider? I do know this person should take the motorcycle safety course which will help them get their license. I have only driven a bike a couple of time but it was a long long time ago and I want to get a bike. Any advice would be great. The bike I am looking at getting is a CBR 600.

I'd personally recommend getting a 250 or 500 to start.. either that, or find just a cheap-o bike to beat up. I on the other hand bought a gixxer6, and the first time I ever rode the bike was the day I picked it up from the dealer. That officially qualified as the dumbest f*cking thing I've ever done.

well if you have ridden before, and if you DO take the course then seeing you on a cbr 600 shouldnt be a problem. just take it easy and dont try to be a squid! you havent rode for a while, so dont try to pick up where you left off! but you'll be o.k.
