1994 Honda Accord Won't Start
Hi guys. I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX 2.2L VTech.
I was driving along one evening and the car stalled without warning. It would turn over, but it would not fire. The D4 light is flashing.
After some extensive online research, I learned that a common problem with these is the Main Relay going bad. I replaced the relay but unfortunately that did not resolve the issue.
I'm a novice at best when it comes to cars, but after some more research, I figured out how to get the trouble codes. The codes were as follows;
1 - Heated Oxygen Sensor A
8 - Top Dead Center Sensor
13 - Barometric Pressure Sensor
14 - Idle Air Control Valve or bad ECU
I don't know anything about any of these or what they control. I do know the ECU is the computer that controls a lot of different things.
I guess my question is, would any of these (other than the ECU) prevent the car from starting? And is there any one thing that would trigger these 4 codes at the same time? It just doesn't seem logical that all these would fail at the same time. Is it something simple?
Thank you in advance for any help or guidance any of you can provide.

if it truly is throwing a code for the barometric sensor, that usually means the ecu is bad so you can pull an ecu from a 94-95 accord that is also an ex and see how many problems that fixes first
Pull the ecu. Open it (5 screws, you won't break anything inside of it) if it smells like rotten fish or has visible leakage, the caps inside have died. Replace the ecu.
Thank you both for your replies. Before I attempt to pull the ECU, the car is not getting any spark at all. I assume a bad ECU could cause this?
Someone I know locally thought it was a bad distributor, but that wouldn't trigger those codes I listed above would it?
Sorry for my ignorance on mechanical subjects guys.

it's entirely possible something in the distributor is bad, you can first check your fuses in the engine bay, one might be blown
sometimes it's best to just pick up a new brand name distributor just as preventive maintenance if yours looks original
