Hey guys, I have a 95' civic d15b7 engine. I get direct vibrations going in and out while the ac is on (coming from the left lower part of the engine), sometimes it almost sounds like a knocking sound when I accelerate and even effects how I shift. The minute I turn the AC off the noise and vibrations go away and it drives normal. could it be a belt, the compressor, low charge, or just something lose.

 

Pop hood
Start car
Turn on AC
Walk out and look at your ac compressor and report back what its doing.

 

I can only replicate this while I'm driving it won't vibrate in park and if It does it only does for a few seconds.

Update: I managed to get replicate it a little bit, with the AC on blast in park in can hear a slight knock and if you touch the high-pressure hose you can match the sound to what your feeling as well as if you touch the compressor. When I am driving it must get 10x worse because it shakes my foot on the brake pedal. AND the ac still blows cold and has good charge.

 

if you confirmed that it is your ac compressor then it needs to be replaced.
