95 civic shock tower plug cap taken
hi hopefully someone could help me here. I’ve looked all over for the plug but can’t find it. Well apparently someone stole the plug cap for the fuel injectors plug and now my car won’t start up(since the injectors aren’t firing) could someone tell me a way to bypass that or somewhere to find a cap for the plug. It’s the plug with 8 yellow/black wires. I know the cap completes a circuit. Someone please help me on this. I’m not around any junk yards that have the eg body style. Thank you in advance for helping if anyone can.

Ahh I see. So take the black/yellow wires tie them with each other. And the rest with the same color wires. Great. I’m still looking for the cap. It’s on a car I’m building. So I have a little time to find the cap. But I thought that’s all the cap did was just made them touch each other. Thank you very much. ^
Those junction plug caps are very common... every '92-95 Civic has one, so you can get one from just about anywhere. I am not sure how far you are from the nearest salvage yard, but you are never really far from one if you know what I mean. As for this sounding like an emergency... I would say get patient. Although Freedo's solution would work just fine in a Zombie Apocolypse... this is a really terrible idea because this temporary solution turns into a permanent hack job in your engine bay. There are enough really crappy Honda's out there now... please don't be that guy. Take some pride in your ride man !!!
Haha. I get you bro. Not in a hurry. It’s just on a car I’m building. I took the harness out and left it outside my garage and I guess someone needed the cap more than I did. My daily is a 2000 ex coupe with a mini me. Thank you much. I’m gonna have I find a crashed EG.
My EJ8 just got a quick wash down after sitting like 10 months with a blown Y8.

Please don't misunderstand me, I wasn't doubting your dedication sir. I don't know you... so I am not judging. But I am sure you have seen a heap of Hondas out there... and you know what I am talking about. I just don't want to see you add to the pile of crappy Honda's out there... and you gave us an opportunity to potentially save you before you did anything rash !!! One more thing: If you are having trouble finding a 5G Civic... any '94-01 Integra engine harness has the same plug on the drivers side.
By the way, you have a really cool work space... I am kinda jealous.

No way was I implying you said anything like that. Just was saying I know I have seen my fair share of Honda’s held together with bailing wire!! Haha. I live 15 miles from tve border or Mexicali so you can imagine the rides I’ve seen. There’s many people driving around here and I think “how in the hell is that car on the road” I would never want my car to look like that. And ya, I heard that also that the 94-01 integra was the same as the eg civic. Wish they would’ve kept the EK like that. Would make things ALOT easier in my opinion. Been wanting an integra. But I think I only want one cause of the b series. If I got a b series in my daily I would do a back flip. 😮👌🏼We used to have a full shop with a lift and all the tools you would ever need. When my dad passed on back in 2014 my mom sold everything. I fought for the lift to stay but I wasn’t working at the time and she needed money. So I’ve been building my tools back up. When I did the mini me build finding the tools was harder than building the car. No kidding they were scattered. I took a full day a couple days ago and found all my tools and cleaned them as put them back in my toolbox. I couldn’t find my 17mm deep socket for the life of me so I had to use a 11/16 deep socket I believe. Or a 3/4. Can’t remember. Also had to borrow a impact from a friend cause my mom sold that also. Took like 6 months just to find someone to loan one to me. Couldn’t pull my axles without it. Suckers were super tight on there.
That plug looks like it makes all the wires connect to each other. I can see where there all hooked together at the top then it U’s around to the bottom where they’re all hooked to each other. Can you confirm that with the plug you have there @freedo
That’s correct. It basically is a jumper for those wires.
I know it has 5 of the wires as follows:
+12v (ignition in crank/run)
Inj1
Inj2
Inj3
Inj4
And I think the other 3 supply voltage to the EVAP purge solenoid, the IACV, and maybe the MAP sensor. I could be wrong on those, but I do know they supply +12v to 3 components.

I’m pretty sure I ran an OBD2b dizzy on my OBD1 P72 B18C1... Maybe not. Meh, it’s a blur. Thankfully I’m dizzy-less now. Got 6 coils zapping 6 bangers.

To drop the B20 out and swap in the J30 took about 5hrs because one of the holes I had to drill gave me a problem. The wiring took about 3 evenings as there’s no info online for it. AC isn’t that hard to retain. I’ve got it on my swap, so Kswap with AC can’t be that much harder.

What state are you in? This is something I would be interested in. Why do b series when you could go J series!! Especially when able to retain the ac. I’m all over that. Just terrified on the wiring. Could you take some pictures of your setup. That’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. I heard those j series motors are full of torque.
