Change your clutch master and slave cylinders. See if that helps and go from there. DEFINITELY get oem ones unless you feel like changing them again every 1.5-2 years. The cheapest way to get the oem honda hydraulic cylinders is to go to oemacuraparts.com, or any other oem parts distributor, find the part # for your car and then go on google and search "adler [part #]". Honda's clutch Master and slave cylinders are made by Nissin. Nissin also distributes its parts under the name Adler, so instead of paying $115 dollars for a MC in a box with a Honda logo, you pay around $50-55 and it comes in an Adler box.

Grease? No, that's dirty clutch/brake fluid leaking from it. But anyway, they can still go bad without them leaking. I've had it happen to me

Yea dirty clutch fluid that's slowly leaking from the MC, mixing with the dirt and sound insulation on the interior firewall is going to become a little thicker. If you see this "grease" leaking from the MC, then it needs to be replaced. Here's a link to a great price on a new OEM one - https://www.ebay.com/itm/26379572479...m=263795724795

Make sure there's MTF in the trans! and make sure your clutch fluid is clean and topped off and bled! its real easy to flush and refill the clutch fluid, best done when you replace the CMC. Use some brake cleaner to clean out the inside of the clutch reservoir when you remove it before filling it back with clean fluid!
