Simple Question (Hopefully)
Doing a swap on my ‘90 EF (Timing belt snapped two days ago
and good excuse to do it now), and I already have a ‘96 integra with the B18b1, I’m wanting to put a GSR Head on it, and boost it, not what I’m wanting to get into now though, what do I need to take off the Teg, and put on the EF? Mechanically, Wiring-ly(?), anything of importance before I get rid of the car. Appreciated guys. Just need a quick run down.

Off the top of my head, the engine/transmission with axles and the ECU. You should modify the existing wiring harness on the Civic to work on the Integra engine BUT I'd say keep the wiring harness from the Integra engine so you can scavenge as needed. If you haven't already, take the rear trailing arms with brakes, e-brake cables, soft lines, and proportioning valve if so desired. If you can weld, take the shift linkage from the Integra and modify as needed or you'll need to buy an aftermarket shift linkage set specific to the B swap in an EF chassis..
You might be able to skip some of the wiring modification if you can source a pre-OBD PR4 ECU.
In addition to an aftermarket mount kit and shift linkage set, you'll need a cable/hydro conversion of some sort to address the transmission difference or you can find a cable actuated B-series transmission to use.

Thankyou, I was gonna just get new axles and stuff, just because if I’m gonna do it, why not get New parts? But I’ll take the engine harness. Just to scavenge If need be, and I knew about te hydro-cable conversion, this seems like a dauntingly large task with a lot to do right now, so wish me luck! I’ll be coming back to the forum all the time for questions on this stuff!!
