My cluster has been going in and out randomly like going from full bright to dim and inbetween. Nothing seems to trigger it ie turn signals, wipers, etc itll just dim then come back. Headlights dont dim when cluster dims, all other electronics are in good shape havent had anything else fade out or stop working so where should I start looking?

 

Sounds kind of like you're experiencing the beginning of a failing splice somewhere. Might need to do a little bit of digging along the harness between your dimmer and cluster harness to find the point where it breaks off to the climate control area.

 

does the heat/fan controls dim when the cluster dims?
yes - check the dimmer
no - cluster issue (connection/bulb)
