Default Identifying Bseries cams

Hi Guys, I bought an engine over from someone he told me there are Skunk cams inside. I searched online but couldnt find any markings that identify these cams as Skunk

. The exhaust is marked with an L and the intake is marked with an M. Could someone please tell me what cams these are?

Not to be a dick, but you really should’ve had him show you the markings on the cam before buying them. The fact that he left the cam gears on shows he probably was trying to hide it. Big red flag is if they’re aftermarket he should be running a adjustable cam gear, not stock.

I bought the engine complete and I removed the cams myself. It is adjustable cam gears.

The markings are on the distributor ends of the camshafts. Give us some close up shots of the other ends of both cams.

That looks like two pictures of the same Intake camshaft. Are the markings on the end of the exhaust cam similar or different ??? Have you contacted King Motorsports to see if these are legit ???

The markings are different on both cams, if i look at it closely they are slightly different. Im in Cape Town Im not sure who King Motorsports is. Do you still think its relevant to contact them?

King Motorsports is the exclusive Mugen Importer in the US... they would know if those cams are truly genuine.

Can it be Mugen cams because the cam marks look like Mugan and Mugun if you look very closely, Im just thinking to myself what company would brand their cams like that its really unprofessional to me its more like a back yard job. Funny thing is the guy I bought the engine from told me it was Skunk cams.

but if you still think its worth a shot I'll try and get in touch with them hopefully via email, the call cost from SA to the US will be insanely expensive.

I am not aware of any camshafts that were retailed/distributed in mass to the public by Mugen. Since you reside outside of the US, I certainly suggest you email them and save some cash.
